Ellie’s story
I first started coming because I was recommend by a close friend of mine who was enjoying the company from everyone else and the advice she received.

I was very anxious when I first turned up and was very scared just because I didn’t know anyone and wasn’t sure what to expect. When I turned up I got nothing but warm energy towards me with everyone asking if they could help. I got hot drinks and someone to talk to.
Recently I’ve been struggling with a few things and I cannot thank them for the support and the help that I have received from them. I have had to use the food bank but they have helped me not feel embarrassed for asking by sorting the food out for me. It made me so overwhelmed to know that the support is there. Every Wednesday I go because it gets me out from my flat and let’s me see other mums and be able to get out and talk to everyone. I appreciate all the help that I have received. It helps more than anyone knows. My time there has made me realise that I can ask for help if I need it, I don’t have to be so dependent on myself. I have more confidence to ask for the help now too.
I have a two and a half year old daughter and she loves it here too, all I can say is thank you for everything.
